Meet Katie
Katie is a Registered Interior Designer and LEED Accredited Professional. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she later received her Bachelor of Interior Design from Texas Tech University. She started her career at an architecture & engineering firm where she specialized in corporate and healthcare interiors. She sat for the NCIDQ in 2009. Later she moved into commercial real estate development where she honed her technical drawing skills. In 2015, she started BDGelsh and focused on architectural drafting and sketching. In 2020, she rebranded to Katie Gelsheimer Design where she continues to provide architectural drafting, renderings and design services to residential and commercial clients.
Katie, along with her husband and 2 young boys, relocated from Dallas to Lake St. Louis, Missouri in 2018. In April of 2022, they welcomed a baby girl to complete their family.
Meet Lindsey
Lindsey is from Mexico, Missouri and has a Bachelor of Education from Columbia College. Her career began as a junior high English Language Arts teacher in Columbia, Missouri. After relocating to Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, Lindsey took a break from teaching to stay home with her children. After being out of education for an extended period of time, she discovered her passion for interior design and began working as a home staging professional before furthering her career as a design assistant for another local interior designer. Lindsey joined KGD in August of 2022.
Lindsey and her husband, Travis, live in Lake Saint Louis are proud parents to three children.
